He is experienced in bankruptcy court litigation and has handled complex matters regarding objections to discharge and dischargeability, mortgage balance disputes, income tax liabilities, and preferential and fraudulent transfers.
Howard Rothbloom has worked to expose lender abuses and has advocated for consumer rights reform from the Georgia Captiol to the United States Capitol. Moreover, he has pioneered and won multi-million dollar mortgage lending abuse cases on behalf of thousands of poor people against some of the world's wealthiest and most powerful financial institutions.
Howard Rothbloom earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Georgia. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. Mr. Rothbloom is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association, Cobb County Bar Association, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and is also a member of the board of directors of the Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Inc.
